Balance – it seems to be like that mythical creature that you dream about but can never meet in real life right? But why is that?
Why is Balance such a reach or why do we feel guilty when wanting it?
For some out it may mean that we don’t love our businesses or some it may fell like we are failing at managing our time or that we will get there we just need to work harder for the next 10 years and then relax. Can you relate to that?
Balance doesn’t have to be such a dirty word and we shouldn’t feel guilty for wanting it either. So how do I stop feeling this way and feel okay about balance?
The start is looking where you are, if you had to right now write down the 4 key areas of your life what would they be? Business, Family, Realtionships, Learning, Money, Health?
Where do those things fit in to your everyday life? Is the pendulum swinging one way more than the other?
That is simply the opportunity for you right now, because as time changes so does the swing.
But there are some things you can do right now to help move closer to balance
1 – Work out where you are right now and why? What is the reason why you are so focussed on 1 thing more than the others as this can be a telekinesis sign to how you are thinking right now.
2 – What does balance look like for you? Be really clear about this, what would ultimate balance be and what would your topical day look like?
3 – How far away are you right now? This may be a scary question to ask but you need to see what the gap is as this could actually be a huge wake up call to what you really have or what you really have to change.
