So you want balance right? But what if I told you you can’t have balance all the time, how would you feel about that?
I would love to tell you that business is easy and you will always be able to have perfect balance but you and I both know that is not always the case. Balance is not always balance.
We all know when we are starting out we invest everything we have, time, money, everything into making this business a reality because that is what we need to do right now. We have all been there, but we tell ourselves once it is up and running I will pull back and have more balance. But that is not entirely correct, yes there will be times where we can have a weekend away or more time with family and friends but this doesn’t always happen and we need to be prepared for this.
As soon as you start getting a team on board going from just you to others you need to manage it can feel like balance is a distance memory but all of this is only temporary and here is why.
Anytime we step up a level we are learning new things, testing new ideas and simply doing stuff we weren’t don’t before and all these things take time to master so it throws out the balance while we learn whatever it is we need to learn right now and turn his into a skill. Once we have that skill beded down the balance shifts again as things become easier.
This cycle is how growth occurs in our business and ourselves so we a forever, Testing – Learning – Mastering – Settling over and over again as we grow. So if we look at balance we can see the balance we have in life will be changing as we go through each part of the cycle.
